Miyazaki saying they felt extra pressure from the demon souls remake to make ER graphically better.
I also read they have taken a few pointers from DS and possibly been in contact with Bluepoint about how to implement some things. Pretty cool if that's the case. I'd like to see more studios being open and helpful.

I wonder how will PS4 and XBO versions will run. Hopefully they'll be locked at 1080p30 with some effects turned off when compared to top-tier PCs, PS5 and XBX.

Sites reporting this are over-playing it. He did say that there was some extra pressure for the graphics team, but that ultimately the main focus of From games is gameplay NOT graphics, which is where the focus should always be when making a game. I played the PS5 closed network test, and thought that although the graphics are not as good as recent PS5 games, the art direction is still top-tier.

Yep. In my head demons souls on ps3 has some of the best graphics ever. I’m sure objectively it doesn’t but the art maketh the game.

Not sure what exactly From are prioritising then to be honest as the souls games look rubbish AND run like turds (BluePoints remake excluded).

PC versions of Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls II (including SOTFS), Dark Souls III and Sekiro run at a locked 60FPS.

On ps5 all three DS games run at locked 60. And personally I think the visuals look great.

The physical edition being sold everywhere is really nice, more like a ltd edition, had mine pre ordered at £42 for ages but I cancelled it in the end, just don’t think ill enjoy it.
