Ha ha ha, just joshing, mate.

I do find it interesting that people who have previously struggled seem to get on better with the new headset.
My mate likes PSVR, but really feels queezy quite fast, sadly.

I'm curious how it is for glasses wearers.

With the first PSVR the image actually looked clearer without my glasses. I didn't need to wear them. Hoping that might be the case again but if I needed to wear my glasses it would be good to know if it's possible without scratching lenses.

There's plenty of adjustment space for glasses, but you will get less FoV because of it.

I’m long sighted, reading glasses needed to use a phone or computer but I need no glasses for vr. I don’t really understand how that works.

Yea I`m the same, My optician said its because the focal length in VR is set for normal vision, regardless of how far the screens are away from the eyes. Still doesnt make sense but does.... sort of

Picked up a pair of headbands to see if they would help with comfort, and they work a treat! Way more comfortable, no pain, and will probably keep the headset cleaner over time too. Not bad for £7.

Just in case you haven't seen them, these are meant to be good:

Mcbazel VR Eye Mask Cover 3 Pieces Universal Adjustable Sweat Band Washable Facemask Cover for O-culus Quest 2/HTC Vive/PS/Samsung Gear VR https://amzn.eu/d/gMgiDrq

A lot of people who do fitness stuff in VR use them.

My head gets hot very quickly so I've also been looking at those bladeless fan systems that sit on your neck/shoulders to help enable longer sessions, but the headband thing might not be a bad shout either, cheers both.

I had another try of the new headset again earlier this week and while I'm still having fun with it, I'm still struggling to get it to the sweet spot where I feel everything is totally in focus, and it's definitely dogging my experience. It still works and it's still impressive, but I feel like there's that last step that will click and make all the difference when I find it. Have tried with and without my glasses, but think the problem's more to do with where the whole thing is sitting on my head rather than the calibration of lens distance.

Something really worth having, for those of you new to these headsets. You can get these packs of hypoallergenic wipes from chemists, best place is Boots - you've probably seen them near the counter. They cost about a pound for a pack which lasts ages. Really useful to use on the headset every so often.

Probably doesn't need to be said, but just in case - don't use them on the lenses, you won't see the micro-scratches, but they will be there, only use microfibre suitable for cleaning glasses.

Yeah, I should've said - the lenses will get cloudy over time if you do that.

Caved. Bought. Looking forward to a lot of Resident Evil.

Agreed, it looks great, but that Pilot Wings clone is one of the few PSVR games that made feel queasy after a session, so I'll be curious if the better headset alleviates this issue.
