I had a brief hands-on earlier. It really makes the existing Switch look like a five year-old £80 Android tablet. If the entire enclosure was metal it'd be Apple level build quality.

The colours on Sonic Mania almost got me stoned.

I would of thought this is to be expected by everyone to be honest?

Has this speculation got precedent? There are obviously examples of Nintendo removing features, even when those features were once their main selling point, but do they update and then do lower quality versions of that same update? I can’t think of when that happened.

They've done plenty of budget versions of their consoles but I can't remember them issuing a premium one and then gimping it later.

Ah okay. I wasn't aware they dropped the quality of the 3DS screen. Yeah okay, that's interesting and would be a cause of concern.

I still believe this should be something Nintendo add to improve their online service for free rather than creating another tier, its not even as if they are regularly adding nes or snes games to the switch library. No doubt what we will get with this is a slim selection to start with, then nothing for months.

Yep, we're deep in Year 5 for Switch now, three more at best to go likely means it's time to let any real VC/retro ambitions go for Switch Online now. A smattering of new N64 and MD roms before thing petter out ahead of the next system

Really hope people aren't expecting a mass of N64 stuff the consoles library is weak for 3rd party stuff.

Walked in to ask why there are no waiting lists. Bloke phoned lady to see if she still wanted her neon one (she already got the white one on Friday). She didn’t want the neon one.
