I feel your pain with 2FA... You can actually get Nintendo to remove it if you can prove a few details on the account. I had to jump through hoops a few months back but I'd also lost my 2FA codes...

I would try that as a last resort.

All transferred across, did have one scary moment when I thought I had lost all my animal crossing data.

Honestly, right-out-the-gate, it was really clear Nintendo had at least learned something from the WiiU.

The Switch's earliest reveals and trailers established (1) what the product was and (2) why you want it in literally seconds. I know we all joked about the person bringing their Switch to their friend's BBQ in the earliest advert but you can't deny that the demonstration was effective. People got the idea.

We didn't know that would be as popular as it was going to be (I'd be lying if I suggested 'oh I always knew'), but, as for myself, I was sold instantly because I had already really liked the combo of the PSVita/VitaTV, and this seemed like something similar with all the rough edges filed off.

Yeah I wasn't an early adopter with the switch but they nailed the brief and the advert definitely won over many. It's not a perfect system even now but you can't deny it's a very smart and versatile design... despite its flaws.

Has anyone tried that demo of voice of cards?, went in kind of skeptical & came away totally loving it. I have a thing for card games to start with but i have never seen a rpg card game done quite like this where it's constantly narrated as well as the actual world been made from cards. Kind of a bummer it's not got a physical release that i can find but i enjoyed it enough i'm extremely tempted to plonk down the £24.99 on launch on the 28th. The battle mechanics are pretty enjoyable.
