The digital version of Dying Light is not available in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand due to German laws prohibiting the sale of titles with violence against "human-like" creatures, including zombies. The physical version is/will be available in all PAL countries except Germany.
Developers and publishers are working to remove the ban, but it's still unknown how this will impact the game, but games like Left 4 Dead were (to my knowledge) banned and unbanned without cuts/censorship.
This ban is due to Nintendo Europe being based in Germany, and thus the PAL eShop has to follow German laws.

So what happens for the UK as we are not in europe anymore. Guessing we still get shafted over as i think we still connect to the euro eshop i seriously doubt theres one just for the uk. Not that it matters this time as i have zero interest in that game but guessing this wont be the last time that censorship will rear it's head. Apparently dick boss dlc for rtype final 2 on switch is gonna be censored too.

Jesus, i was looking for indie games and at the bottom where amazon shows you others this "game" was in the list. The cover is shovelware trash so i was thinking hmm what the hell could it be. I'm amazed nintendo let this one onto the eshop even as a 18 release, not posting a gameplay vid as it's nsfw

Hidden item game + porn, classy. The physical release come with a super tacky fanservice book. I like weird games but this is cringy as hell. The age declaration is just the icing on the seedy cake.

Yep, I was surprised about these releases as well. It's kinda amazing that Japanese developers go to great lengths to turn their ero VNs in non-ero VNs for console and Steam release while western developers just go for the full thing.
