Missed out on the N64 controller...

Was expecting the expansion pass to be an extra fiver as well but perhaps that was naive.

If I can grab one of those N64 controllers when they come back in stock and it works on PC I might just stick with PC emulation and skip this expansion.

Well i succumbed to the OLED upgrade.
However can't transfer my data across!
Having problems with the two form verification on google authenticator- just says code not valid again and again!

You need google authenticator to transfer data?!

Never did it myself, but it's probably needed if you want to move user profiles between consoles.

You don't need it specifically to transfer data, but you do need to be able to log in to your account on the new system to initiate that process, which does involve Google Authenticator if you've set that up as your 2FA method.

You can turn off 2FA from the settings at Nintendo's website.

Well, of course it does because the account is the same...maybe try the password reset procedure, this way it should also reset the 2FA counter.

Same. I'll probably stick with my current plan and pay for the DLC instead. When they add more N64 games that I want to play again, I'll change it up. Or when they add something different to the Japanese one, I can already see they are adding Custom Robo at some point.

Ended up picking up Oshyaberi! Horijo! Gekihori as i have been meaning to get it for a while sadly digital only but the gameplay mechanic is super fun a shmup mixed with mr driller. So far 4 hours of playtime have vanished in a flash, it's pretty addictive.

It's now being rumoured reported that the Switch Online + Expansion Pack price bump is down to Sega charging Nintendo a significant financial premium for the licensing for MD games to be on the service.

This allegedly stems from Sega refusing to fully support the Virtual Console services on Wii U & 3DS because they considered the sales performance of Wii VC before them to be poor.
