The kickstand looks an even worse design than on the original Switch.

Goldeneye 007 has been removed from Germany's list of restricted titles. Notably Nintendo has paid to have its status reviewed early...

Well it's like they've copied the original design which is a terrible idea.

I actually like the concept... re-use the joycons and play everything on a bigger screen but christ they've gone too big. Who is going to carry that around and if you're hooking it up to a TV or monitor you might as well just get that lovely small genki adaptor instead.

We've tried playing our Switch on planes, trains and shinkansens but the screen is too small for us to enjoy anything in tabletop mode. Maybe Mario Kart if we squint.

Putting aside the kickstand, I think it looks groovy. Minimal cables snaking about so it would be perfect for tiny tables such as this:

You mentioning the genki adaptor is making me wonder if this screen might brick Switches like other 3rd party docks have a tendency to do. Hopefully this one will be doing something similar to the genki.

Yeah, but it takes about 5 seconds of use to notice the kickstand on the OG Switch doesn't quite work, and they replicated it on an exponentially larger and heavier system.

Yeah that's a concern about the power delivery. I had that genki adaptor and its amazing, ended up selling it to a friend when I sold my original switch as he plays a lot with his kids and takes it camping with one of those portable monitors. This isn't bad but really I think its too big for handheld play.

Is there any chance Perfect Dark can come to N64 Online? Or because Rare own it with MS not chance? I guess no for Golden Eye due to license. 1080 Snowboarding would be good.

Unsure. Banjo was published by Nintendo. Perfect Dark was published by Rare themselves.

Anyone else played Carrion? been working my way through this & it's amazing it's so damn satisfying playing as a bunch of murderous spaghetti, the animation is so fluid. I so far haven't gotten tired of throwing people around like ragdolls before eating them while they all run screaming for cover. The soundtrack is super atmospheric it's really like playing a pixel art sci-fi horror film, as a nice bonus the cart version contains the xmas dlc story.

Data miners have found that there will be 38 N64 games in total coming to the service so you never know

I personally think that, Banjo-Kazooie aside, every other N64 game developed by Rare can be ruled out of ever coming to the Expansion Pack.

Considering how many months it takes them just to trickle a few random snes & nes roms you are going to be waiting YEARS for some of those N64 games to potentially drop. People expecting a pile of N64 games every month are going to be sadly disappointed the N64 library is too small to be able to do that you'll be lucky to get a couple a year.

Yeah, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I pre-ordered the physical and got a download code while I waited, but as such completely missed that there was DLC and that I've probably got it! I like the reversed role take on survival horror though

I particularly enjoyed the brief bit where you got to play as a human and I discovered that you can make him do the MC Hammer shuffle

Have to admit i sat there like a lemon when the game went to the part where you're looking at humans in that weird 1st person mode i had no idea you were supposed to be controlling the guy in front of you i just sat there for several minutes watching the helicopter before i realised i was an idiot I'm enjoying the puzzle elements where you have to reform to different sizes to be able to use certain abilities with the greatest risk been when you are in smallest form as you can be wiped out pretty much in an instant if the electric barrier/flamethrower men see you. Cheekily poking a tentacle around a corner to yoink a guy to eat is fun all on it's own, i had no idea there even was DLC till i booted up the game & at the main menu it asks you what story you want to do, i had a quick go on the xmas one but i think that one is meant to be played after the main game as you are thrown in and are expected to know how to control your mass of angry spaghetti it's def not the same game just reskinned in winter xmas lights it seems like a totally different level. It's nice they included it as part of the physical release. More tentacle devastation is always welcomed.

The retro pixel art look is quite played out in indie games but when it's done well it's totally amazing, the amount of fluid details & lighting makes it extremely pleasing to look at.
