The mario strikers follow up, Klonoa, the MK8 DLC, Xeno3, Chrono cross...

For me this was the best direct in ages.

I really want to like Splatoon 3, I think they've chosen a really ugly look for it though. the colouring etc is really off putting.

I should also be much more excited for the MK8D tracks, it's technically what I want but they looked a tad... simple? They're remastered and there's a lot so it's hard to complain but they definitely look less impressive than the existing roster. The rest of the Direct is leftover fodder.

I agree - they looked significantly less vibrant and alive than the current roster.

I think I'll get that Klonoa set if it isn't too expensive though. Not much interest in anything else unveiled.

Yeah, it looked terrible. They're going to "remaster" the music, too.

I'll stick to the striking low-res PSX version if I want to replay it at any point.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 looks more like a more faithful sequel to the first game than Xenoblade Chronicles 2, so I'm naturally looking forward to that.

Live-A-Live and Front Mission are great news too. Between these, the Saga games, and Seiken Densetsu 3, I feel like Rudra no Hihou and Treasure Hunter G are actual, legitimate possibilities too now, with Square seemingly coming around at last to the fact they did non-Japanese territories dirty in the 16bit era.

I'm sure Splatoon 3 will be great but I'm not sure why it's better than 2 or even 1 yet, but hey. Kirby, Klonoa, new Taiko, Triangle Strategy, and Xenoblade 3 also all thumbs up.
