Benefit of the doubt atm. The remake gives more breathing room for new locations and approaches. I guess a lot will come from how much the story justifies the shift as it's more than justifiable as long as they avoid slapping fog on new locations and calling it a day. Presumably there will be a great reasoning. I'm none to fussed about the setting, its not as original a bend as Konami probably thinks it is, simply giving the game immediate Fatal Frame vibes but so far they've been earning trust in the franchises revival so hopefully it comes together well

I love the combination of the 1960s Japan made by Ryukishi07 with the Silent Hill vibe. I'm really looking forward to this game.
