Tried that, and a reinstall. Crashed after 15 mins that time.

That was my thinking, but no solder smell and the Ps5 fan is just as near silent as the day i got it. Ill give it a day or two and see if a patch comes out. If thats a no go, ill try giving it a clean up and see if that helps.

Its an instant shutdown with no warning message, and no flashing lights etc.

Cleaned the PS5 using one of the Youtube help videos, and after 20+ hours of play no more issues {fingers crossed) was a fair bit of dust inside.

I mean, it was rumoured back in January. I suspect they've delayed it to get Horizon and GT7 out and then do a SoP. I just want to know if it's real and what it'll cost...

There's rumours going around from the likes of Giant Bomb that it will be 3 tiers. Premium ($16 a month), Extra ($13) and Essential ($10).

Essential being what PS Plus is now. Premium is PS Now/Plus combined with added EA Play-style trials and a selection of curated classic games, no day one Sony stuff. More expensive than Game Pass. Extra will be similar but no game streaming of PS Now content and slightly large PS Plus Collection. Rumour, but sounds believable. I just can't see them coming up with an everything Sony on the service and day one Sony stuff.

2024 - I give it till then at most till it's the broad standard again. Otherwise it'd be an entire hardware generation held at PS4 visual benchmarks to maintain 60fps...
