I think the loopholes will tighten but subscription prices will remain the same for now. Though bigger name games are coming the sub numbers for Game Pass are now pretty stagnated so I feel they will wait and see first.

That's why I think there'll be a £1pm hike in each subscription tier once a few big titles start dropping in...

If there is no way to get a cheaper sub once mine runs out July 2024, I will just use MS Rewards to get it free every month. Hoping there will still be ways to get it cheaper though as I like using MS rewards to get free games!

I've just recently done the convert three years of Gold to GPU for one months payment so cheaper options are still available.

I forgot that the second Forza Horizon 5 expansion is out today and I haven't reinstalled the game

Remember... competition is good. Hopefully this is priced better than the Seagate ones and prices drop significantly.

Edit: This is $180us... still I'm sure other retailers will discount soon enough.

That's just it. They're probably not allowed to go full bore and undercut the Seagate model by 50% but with more options in it market the overall pricing won't stay high like it has the past two years.

Last I checked the Seagate model is around £180 or around there locally so with any luck it should bring them down further and I guess they'll hover around £140-150 for a few months before dropping again (probably around black friday).

They really should be sub £100 but until there's more options that won't happen.
