I can already play it in the N64. Mainly I just want it in 4K with online functionality.

Hasn’t the community done it already?

N64 emulation on the PC is probs **** hot by now, but I doubt it’s going to be possible to play online. It’s also hard enough organising games for something that’s forever on Game Pass directly on their consoles.

Has it even got online on the Xbox version? I don’t remember seeing it listed in the options last time I fired it up.

It’s always been a feature. They even increased the max amount of players from four to eight. It’s an absolute riot, although that said I’ve never had a proper set of games online with it. I’m thinking as it’s on Game Pass and a few of us have consoles that it’d be pretty easy to set up.

I remembered I can maybe get a cheap One X from somewhere to satisfy this urge. Looking at our TV area (which is huge, and white) a Series X just isn’t going to fit anywhere without obscuring the TV.

Surely a cheap SeriesS would be better then, always see them on offer.

Yeah I see Series S consoles going for anywhere from £100-£180 on Facebook locally... probably the best option.

No. Because it won’t do 4K Perfect Dark. I might as well just carry on with my antiquated X360.

Better come back, I was waiting for Forza before I jumped on this.

Cue bashing of MS as people can’t game the system for effectively free gamepass. Was always going to get closed at some point.

Microsoft are absolute world leaders of subscription and tiered levels. Everything Microsoft is behind some kind of pay wall. It was only a matter of time before they killed this and wrapped it in licences, access levels and payment tiers.

This has been a long time coming... Game Pass has been offering this for nearly 6 years now.

I'm assuming we will be seeing the family plan options they've been testing rolling out to major territories soon with this news.

I'm sure some people will be annoyed that the loophole has been plugged but remember you can still buy subscriptions cheap from places like CDkeys, plus of course also use MS rewards as well...

There's still plenty of ways to get the subscription cheaper, just not as cheap as it was.

I'd also assume MS will raise prices a fraction when Starfield launches... if not before.
