Series S and X price in Japan to be increased by 5,000 yen each.

Yup, never understood the fuss about the DualSense haptics either. Just feels the same to me with the exception of having the trigger depression limiter element that never feels convincing, more like your controller is breaking than anything else.

Wow, a country where you'd expect the price to be lowered.

It's always the usual suspects being negative. ignore the detractors haptic and restive triggers are awesome improvements for controllers. These where the people saying we don't need analogue sticks d-pads are better. colour tv i'm happy with black and white thank-you, indoor plumbing, i'll keep my outdoor toilet thank you. As I said above I can take or leave haptics... so it's good you can turn them on/off or lower the strength.

I really liked the implementation in Astrobot but I've turned it off on other titles because I just felt it got in the way. I haven't tried GT7 with them on but I can see that being one area where they would be useful, same as force feedback on a steering wheel.

I'd actually like to see Xbox copy the haptics idea from Sony and put them in a new Elite controller... and I would buy it. I just don't think they serve as big a purpose in every genre or title as others, but again that is just my opinion on it.

If MS had done haptics first it would of been hailed as the best thing ever to hit gaming.

Make it your gooooaaaallll to have fun with two great February Games with Gold! On Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, answer the call to adventure in For the King and then play soccer in a completely unexpected way in Guts N Goals. Xbox Live Gold members will have exclusive access to these games for […]

                  "Bring out ya dead"

For the King - Available from February 1st to February 28.
Guts N Goals - From February 16 to March 15

They need to just kill games with gold as this is embarrassing both have mediocre review scores in the 50-70s so their not even hidden gems. it just feels like Microsoft is putting in the absolute minimum effort with all its focus on Gamepass. In contrast that is absolutely killing it at the moment with surprises like HI-FI-Rush blowing me away and things like Atomic Heart Starfield and Redfall all getting me hyped up for this years releases.

You people must have hardcore, calloused Manplan hands because playing my Series S feels like going back in time as far as vibration is concerned. I’ve been absolutely loving Hi-Fi Rush but the vibration almost ruins it. The Xbox impulse triggers are the stupidest idea I’ve seen in a while and it’s down to each game whether it lets you disable them or not (Forza does, for example). They do nothing but tickle my fingers. It was worse with my Xbox One controller and my Series controllers are a bit better but it’s still nonsense.

Both the DualSense and the Switch haptics are sublime in comparison. I don’t bother with the DualSense adaptive triggers because I don’t care for the effect and my controllers get a fair bit warmer when it’s enabled.

The Xbox impulse triggers are basically the exact same idea as the PS5 resistive triggers, except implemented so poorly as to be almost unnoticeable.

The haptics and resistive triggers on the PS5 are cool. I dig 'em.

I just turn of all rumble on xbox/pc don't like it, then haptics and the triggers after experiencing them on new PS5 games, gets tiring on longer games and unwanted in multiplayer games, only game i've actively turn on low level haptics/pad sounds for on the Ps5 is snowrunner where it is used smartly. The triggers can go the way of motion control and disappear for all i care.

Triggers I either turn off or way down. I find the default setting on games that use them require Hulk fingers to use.
I don't want to apply a constant 300lbs of pressure to accelerate a car in GT7 thanks.

Xbox 360 Marketplace set to delist multiple games and DLC soon

It begins... Or proceeds... Or reveals its final form, I don't know, except it's sad to witness.
