I think that could be the next step for him, but it sounds like the current design had significant continuity with the previous games. He’d have to change it up fairly substantially I’d guess to do what you’ve suggested. A good idea though. I’d actually really like to play the older ones, they’ve intrigued me since they were contemporary.

Considering there have been 23 Angry Bird games since 2009, I'd say yes, people are playing a lot of Angry Birds. Still, that 1B is about three times the company's 2022 revenue.
