Phil Spencer says Xbox will never “out-console” Sony and Nintendo
In an interview, Phil Spencer explains why Xbox isn't interested in trying to topple PlayStation and Nintendo in the games console market.
"Responding to community concerns about Xbox focusing too much on its PC playerbase, Phil Spencer says in an interview with Kinda Funny Games that “we’ll definitely continue to focus on making our console experience as great as it can be […] I will say, this might be disruptive as well, we have a different vision […] we want Xbox to be something that people who buy our console can feel like they’re members of […] feel like they’re full members of our eco-system.”
Giving Xbox owners the ability to “play on many devices” is still paramount according to Spencer, but attempting to upstage rivals like PlayStation or Nintendo isn’t a top priority."

Hogwarts Legacy Dominated Q1 2023 Sales and It’s Not Even Out on the Biggest Consoles Yet
"Hogwarts Legacy sold extremely well. We've known that since the game marked several early records, such as topping single player game charts on Twitch and entering the Top 10 of Steam's all-time concurrent player chart. Shortly after that, Warner Bros. Games announced it had sold over 12 million copies of the game, earning $850 million. It was the publisher's biggest launch ever.
Later, we discovered it was also the fastest launch ever recorded by European charts (except for FIFA, which is unbeatable in the continent). However, the latest NewZoo report on the US and UK markets reveals exactly how much Hogwarts Legacy has dominated the sales charts in the first quarter of 2023."

The Invincible – Beta Demo
"The Invincible is a visually stunning narrative-driven retro-futuristic Sci-Fi thriller based on the book of the same name by Polish futurologist Stanisław Lem.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Alpha sign up, in The Invincible you follow the story of Yasna, an astrobiologist who is on a mission to study a previously unexplored planet called Regis III. However, it’s not long until your crewmates come down with a mysterious illness and you set out in search of them and in search of answers. Your journey will teach you to never underestimate the brutal simplicity and brilliance of evolution.
The current demo of The Invincible features around 25 minutes of gameplay and is a heavily narrative-driven first person experience (a little like Firewatch). It’s an excellent adaptation of Stanisław Lem’s hard Sci-Fi classic and particularly impressive are the voice acting and the cool retro-futuristic equipment the astronauts use. By the end of the demo you’ll be dying to explore more of The Invincible ’s mysterious alien planet. Highly recommended."

FYI if you have steam VR installed it tries to launch in VR (alas its not a VR game).
