Nintendo no longer needs to chase dimishing returns they tried the power game back in the gamecube days and it got them nowhere. They are longer competing with sony or microsoft because they have left them in the dust scrabbling for 2nd & 3rd place. An under powered tablet hybrid that managed to make a laughing stock of next gen. How long has next gen been going now and what little there's actually been released to really take advantage of paying through the ass for a new machine & a tv capable of using it to it's fullest.
Even 3rd party budget games get sales numbers on switch that would be a wet dream for sony & ms.

Nintendo are never again going to bother with Cod or the best looking games running at 4k 60fps. Nintendo want to stick to the younger generations making games anyone can play, but getting the parents to pay for it.

Spent the afternoon playing mario live circuit with my nephew and had a great time. My sister has the perfect house for this, entire place is hard wood with some big rooms so we set up all sorts of fun tracks. It’s so clever and stupidly simple but fun at the same time, a classic Nintendo product.

Speaking of which, we could give Labo a bash as well. We got him a science set two Christmas ago and he’s still jumping in and out of that.

Your not going to play it everyday, but its great fun none the less, I did see it goes up to 200cc and the karts actually go faster as the cc goes up which is really clever. Im not sure on progression to be honest, he’s only 6 so took a while for him to get his head round it, but there’s definitely some sort of progression system there.
