I completely disagree/agree. 343 now is not the same studio it was launching Halo Infinite... the past year they've been absolutely pumping out the changes for that game and I would argue the "canning" already happened and the series is in safe hands.

So we have more than one biome in the campaign now do we in Halo Infinite Forest bio-me? Or have all the updates purely been focused on, Multiplayer and getting people to buy season passes by any chance? how can you say its in safe hands when everything recently has been a shadow of past halo's they couldn't even get the remaster right, it was a mess at lauch and the remaster of the remaster was a mess when it came to the Series x and pc.

The news from January after the layoffs was they have scrapped all story based dlc and are unsure what to do with the Halo battle royal they are working on and have switched development to unreal so yeah we wont be seeing a new halo for a long long time.

Yes and I believe all of that was the correct decision.

No-one really knows how far along or significant the campaign DLC was but I understand why it's no longer part of the roadmap for Halo Infinite.

I never once felt like the campaign was lacking in size or depth personally and the multiplayer side of things has seen huge improvements over seasons 3-4 with 5 about to be the biggest (and best) yet with Forge AI, Extraction and Flood being added.


Really the only disappointment was cancelling split screen co-op but I either wonder how many real world users actually would play it and we will 5 got online co-op. The forge AI inclusion tomorrow also includes new biomes and had the ability to let the community build campaign type elements and other experiences.

So after spreading themselves far too wide and getting rightly criticised for it, I think the decision to go narrower and concentrate on building the community was correct.

Well it would have been a bit spicy if after 2 years of negotiations talking about parity he turned around as the ink was drying and said they were going to put all the current PS "perks" onto Xbox instead.

Microsoft have increased the price of Halo games on PC by an avg £1-2 per title. Nothing major but in some countries it has kicked off as the rate of increase has been up to 400% in price

90% of Forza Motorsport 8 players have never completed a single online race. On Steam performance is better though 77% still aren't going online in that case.

This is much like COD though as there are generally two types of players. Those who jump straight into multiplayer and spend all their time competing and doing time trials, races and rival events... and then those who spend 100% of their time in single player career mode and never bother with actual real players.

I tried multiplayer for a couple of races and I would rather they have an arcade style mode as well as the structured events where you have practice and qualifying. You can still do private multiplayer but I've zero friends interested in doing that.

A good arcade mode where it lets you vote on track/car and you just do a quick qualifying lap would be good.
