I would have said low as it more in prep for the switch 2, but they did put FF14 on it very recently so i would say chances of a 16/remake/rebirth drop is much higher than i would have thought, even with the Series S problems the work downgrading there would help with Switch 2 port.

Very little, as it’s all about sales, which they most likely won’t get on Xbox as Xbox players are now firmly in the mindset of “I’ll wait to play it free on gamepass”.

Helldivers 2 is now the fastest selling PlayStation title ever.

I'm not 100% sure of that claim without more information unless by PlayStation they mean titles published by Playstation Studios.

I know Era is wrong on the claim it's the fastest selling first party PS game ever because it's not a first party title. I also don't know where it stands in console sales as we know most sales are on PC so presumably GOW Ragnarok still holds those two titles whilst Helldivers 2 showcases to Sony the immense value in getting PC releases right

Im suprised its their best seling game when they have massively screwed up with this game over and over. First it was the server and stability issues then it was the devs who can't leave the game alone, (rebalancing and nerfing anything that's overused making the game very un-fun at times). Then there was the retroactive Sony account flip flop requirement **** show that's currently ongoing, where Sony has delisted the game in areas not supported by them, starting a massive wave of refunds and review bombing.

I don't agree with the review bomb or account backlash, as it's a weird thing how PC gamers hate any other account bar steam, when steam was the pioneer of forcing you to have an accounts to play its games.

It's a decent figure given where we are in the generation but it's not all roses. The PS5 is still tracking behind the PS4 and much like Xbox they're down a good 30%.

It's a good indicator just how badly the entire market is affected. I'd expect them to more aggressively move into the PC space (if they can stop tripping themselves up), and I wouldn't be surprised if we see a price cut in the second half of the year on the hardware in preparation for the Pro model.

Bit better than the 7m SeriesX sold though, and thats probably a generous estimate as well.

I think I read PS5 is outselling Xbox by about 5:1.
