This makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

A game of the year getting more levels is not worth your game showcase video.

A lot of guys at work still on their PS4s with no intention of buying a PS5. There's barely a perceptible difference to the average punter and Sony's cross gen releases only reinforced that. My PS5 must be the least used current generation platform I've ever owned. The outside of PSVR2 I have two PS5 exclusives and one of them is a mild upgrade of a previous generation title.

welcome to the all digital future.

in all seriousness, I buy everything on sale from PSN as I'm lazy BUT I want the option to use a drive, so for me a drive for me is essential. It's a big reason why I have not bothered to upgrade to a pro.

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the showcase. There was a real mix of genres with something for everyone and not just sequels or remasters.

It was a funny one for me. While it's nice to see so many new IPs, there wasn't anything that grabbed me. To be honest I wonder if I am kind of losing interest in videogames in some regards...which is sorta depressing.

I'm sure its Sony's fault though.

Sony have announced they are permanently cutting £130 off the price of PSVR2

It's now £399.99, still too high. Black Friday will be interesting this year on it

I loved the original PSVR due to Astrobot blowing my mind. I fell off after losing my VR legs thinking I was a topgun pilot. Haven't been back since.

Did the PSVR2 have any killer apps like Astrobot?

I would've got a PSVR2 if they had made it work with PSVR1 games.

Such a bummer that it doesn't. I thought that at least they would port key titles over to PSVR2. But, nah.

Yeah, that was a cold, ill-judged move from Sony

In short? No. It's most notable exclusives (the devs must be frustrated at how gimped the sales were by this) were:

-The Dark Pictures Anthology: Switchback VR
                                -Horizon: Call of the Mountain
                                -Synapse

Horizon is a nice visual showcase but if you've played climbing games in VR before there's not much new to it, Synapse is solid enough whilst Switchback is fun but a watered down follow up to Rush of Blood. The go to titles people reference are Gran Turismo 7 and Resident Evil 4. Not enough to warrant the price of entry, especially with the mods on PC to bridge the Resi gap enough.

We're really going to lose titles like Astro Bot, Blood & Truth to being gatekept by PSVR1
