Finished Ninja Gaiden last-night.

After 80 hours playing time (including a 30 hour aborted attempt) I finally beat FFX. My first RPG since ooh, Faxanadu? Depressing how little RPGs have come on since that period. I give it 3/10.

Finally beat GTA:VC. I hope they use a more powerful game engine next time, too many minor niggles to mention. And it needs a restart mission option. I give it a 7/10

Beat Psyvariar. Not as good as Ikaruga, or maybe that's just because it isn't as insanely/stupidly punishing. Offers more variation than Ikaruga, and at least the enemies keep on coming. Plus friendlier to newcomers. All the more impressive considering the team size of Success. But I really do like it. I give it a 8/10

I would like to say I'd completed Far Cry, except it gave my 2.8 Ghz, 512 Mb RAM, 9000 Radeon Mobility a heart attack. Which is sad, because I loved the demo and that worked fine. I'd like at least a single frame per second every time a helicopter appeared.

Mostly this year I have been playing PES3 which you don't really finish. And online things like UT which again you don't really finish.

Otherwise I completed Call of Duty (twice!) and Far Cry and I've nearly completed PGR2 in terms of unlocking everything. What else.... hmmm.... the original Splinter Cell. Didn't like it when I first got it but a shortage of da cash is making me revisit uncompleted and little played games and on picking this up and starting again I've really got into it. Might finish it this weekend.

Finally finished Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (GC Collector's Disc version) for the first time ever thus plugging a gap in my set of completed Zelda games. I never particularly liked the game even when I first played it on the NES, but this time I pushed myself to finish it off.

Fin - Metroid: Zero Mission. With 100% item collection. Best part of the game working some of thos puzzles out to reach the more norty hidden ones.

Continue - Zelda 4 Swords + Stage 2-2, classic.

I?m still working my way through Four Swords + at the moment. Think about half way through? I need to get back into it soon though.

Pikmin 2 has been taking a great deal of my time recently. Though I haven?t quite beat it yet. Ive collected all my repayment but still have an insane amount of items to discover and collect. Not to mention the challenge modes to beat and master. A beautiful, addictive and highly enjoyable game imo.

Im also playing through Super Mario Bros 3: Mario Advance 4 on my adorable SP. Quite shamefully, I never completed this in the past (think I got stuck about half way) and ive forgotten almost everything. So this is like playing a new Mario game for the first time. Absolutely essential to anyone and everyone. Brilliant level design? fantastic all round. Loving it. Im on world 6 at the mo.

Lost track of what i've completed this year...loads, really. All the stuff I've reviewed, for a start: Ninja Gaiden, Katamari Damashii, Get Bass etc.

However, I wanted to boast about completing Gitaroo Man, as it's one of the hardest games I've ever played - did it with all B's and a couple A's
