Well when my ipod is attached u can browse the contents through explorer, as if it were a hard drive.
Well apart from the system folders there are a number of numbered folders that contain songs from artist that have no relation to each other...
Like "pod_control\music\F00 F01 F02 F03 and so on. Well all these folders appear to be full of random songs, dunno why.

I'm considering getting a Ipod (20 GB model), but because of the high prices in Britain I'm considering buying one from america and getting it shipped over here, unless Apple have some how stopped that...anyway, because its from America would I need to buy a spechial adapter or something of the sort?

Intresting, but apparantly Ipods are very prone to breakage? and I can't get warranty if I import? Is there a website I can buy one from britain which is cheaper than retail or something?
Do you guys reckon i should just import and save some cash or look for another place in britain to buy one?Last edited by El Leone; 08-02-2005, 16:24.

My original 15GB 3rd Gen iPod I had lasted two years before I sold it and got a 40GB one when it had not long been out. I got a refurbished 40GB one from the US for just a fraction more than what I sold my 15GB for. I bought it in August and the battery seems to now have a mind of its own. So thats 7 months of continuous use from a refurb.
I've just been spending today backing up all my music from my iPod to my external HD so when my 60GB 4th Gen Photo beast arrives I can just put all the music off the HD on to the new iPod. Absolute Win.
