Hey guys.
I got an old-ish cheap-ish CRT out of storage so my SNES doesn't look all like blurry-town, and from the moment I switched it on I remembered something. CRTs will make your ears bleed. Is there any way to fix the high-pitched screeching noise or am I just going to have to decide on a way to make it look nice (and play without too much lag) on an LCD?Last edited by Big A2; 14-03-2011, 11:01.

I am no expert, but I had a CRT, new at the time, which started emitting that high-pitched sound. An engineer came round to fix it and he said not all people can hear that sound. He fixed it by insulating a circuit board in the tv. The noise did stop but at times I would hear a faint trace of it.
