i agree with you on picture though, lcds just look too sharp for me, i'm used to a softer crt picture and plasma is pretty good in giving you this. you do have to spend more cash on a plasma though, and like with a lot of things, people don't want to add another half on top of what they're already paying to get just a bit of improvement.
pros and cons for everything, but as you mentioned, if it looks good it looks good... and if you're happy with it then enjoy the thing

I'm using my 26" 51 for PC, 360 and PS2. I've played with the Freeview stuff but if I want to watch TV I'll watch it downstairs on the Sky+.
More than happy with the PC performance, sitting so far from the screen with my feet up with a wireless keyboard is so much better than before (felt too much like being at work). Image with the PC is perfect, no issues at all.
PS2 via component is sweet, again no issues.
360 by component is as good as I expected, I've got a VGA cable but no tried that out yet (need to dig out my VGA switcher from the loft). A little too dark on PGR3 though, a fiddle with the settings fixes it though.
For my gaming and PC needs this does an excellent job, for pennies too.
Not decided on the lounge yet, LCD or Plasma. Plasma gets the nod so far, waiting for my employee HD box to arrive........

I'd probably stump up the cash for a Plasma if it was for the main room, but for a bedroom setup (26"-32") you can't have anything besides a LCD. Firstly, trying to find a plasma of that size is impossible, and then most people would want to hook up their telly to their PC's (in the bedroom), so plasma's just aren't a viable option.
Agree about the plasma image though, looks lovely universally (especially the Panny PW range)

I used to sit really close too but this is perfect I think.. I did make MSN txt a little larger for conversations as I struggled to see clearly sometimes but browsing the web is decent, sometimes I use the Ctrl and scroll wheel trick to increase text size on vertain websites but mostly, its okay.

Yeh fair enough, I like mucking about on the PC, chatting to mates or browsing the interweb with a PiP display of Sky in the bottom corner, or sometimes I'll watch TV full screen and put on Hexic on the 360 is a wee PiP window.
Love PiP, its so genius.
I like how you can do a full display and 3 small ones down the side on this TV too, not mucked about with it much yet but could I set it to say, PC being full screen, with a analogue TV channel on PiP1, Sky on PiP2 and 360 on PiP3? If so, then that would rock!!
P.S.- I see you changed your name HaHa, did you do it yourself as I've wanted to change mine for ages!?

The remote wont work and the buttons on the telly wont respond. Dont want to switch off the plug in case it wipes the settings. *cries*
I see you changed your name HaHa, did you do it yourself as I've wanted to change mine for ages!?You have to ask a mod to do it. Got bored with hasanhadi so decided to change it to something else.
