Sorry I don't know much about bravias but I can tell you the 360 outputs

    composite
    svideo
    rgb scart
    component
    vga

and HDMI if your console is a newer one

aswell as optical toslink for audio.

Not bought one yet, looking at an Elite soon enough... and just seeing if it had the full set of outputs I expected (and I know the new 360s do HDMI).

Hope this is the right place to ask:

Can anyone recommend me a good online website to buy HDTV's from that have fair prices? So far i've been looking at Amazon and Play.com; but they don't have the biggest selection.

            Ah, thankyou my good man!

            Quick question:

Is there much difference to be seen between 1080i and 1080p? all the tv's in my price range only do 1080i; will that look good enough for my gaming needs and movies?

              1) What outputs does the Xbox360 support?
              2) What's the difference between the 2000 and 3000 series for Sony Bravias?

As an addendum to that second Q, what is the best recommendation for a letter series (V,W,X etc) and number (2000, 3000, 3500 etc) on the Bravias?
              1) Don't understand the question. The 360 supports the output which ever cable you have.
              2) 3000 is the current model, 2000 was last years. 4000 is about to be released around May this this.

X is the top of the range and in goes in descending order, ie X,W,V

Also only X and W range can do VGA at 1080p, all others are capped at 720p.

As to 1, all new 360s support HDMI, VGA, component, composite and RGB SCART output, with an optical out available for digital sound.

I'm looking at buying a Sony KDL-32D3000 but the only thing stopping me is the 100hz processing. Will the 100hz mess up game images in any way? Can you turn it off?

I'd imagine so, best thing to do is go to the Sony site and download the manual and have a flick through that

Yes you can turn it off, and tweak the way it works.

Anyone know if the old Toshiba 32ZP48 will take a NTSC 60hz signal? I'm hearing mixed reports - some people saying that the top and bottom of the screens are cut when displaying at 480p or other NTSC resolutions. No good for me as just about everything I own is NTSC.

About to pick one up tomorrow but thought I'd have a quick ask here in case anyone knew.

seemed to display normally for me back when I had one, it's been a while tho.

I guess it can't be that bad then. Cheers Freddo.

Its not a bad price so I can always sell the thing on if it is a dud.

Could someone recommend me a decent sized LCD TV (I'm thinking around 15-20"?) for playing retro games mostly with RGB scart cables? Thanks.
