Go for it, at the very least it'll be better than Composite.

Component, absolutely. It seems to be more of an international standard and in 5 years time things will be much simple when everything works via that.
If you have a component capable TV then GO FOR IT! It's the very best picture you can get.

Sorry for being a complete retard, but can anyone help (I promise I'll back track through the posts on this thread in the mean time)
Thankee Muchly.
You could ask for the power adaptor to be taken out if you're getting a UK adaptor (I did, less than £10 to buy) to save on postage.
Also beware of customs. You could end up paying MORE for it if they get you. DVDboxoffice say they do all they can to get it through customs but will not mark it down as I asked them so I don't know how that will work. They also said they'd replace it if dead on arrival and would pay postage to send it back out to me (I'd have to pay to send it to them though).
Apparently VG+ will mark it down though. I got it through eBay as the fellow was happy to mark it down and VG+ had none in stock. The eBay chap also allowed me to register the warranty extension to his address and said he'd do all the replacing if I sent it back if problems arose although all p&p at my expense. If interested in him, I can link you.Last edited by SG; 07-07-2007, 12:05.

I bought mine from DVD Box Office, purchased on Thursday night and it was here the next Monday
Note that when you check out with DVDBO you get the option of paying in US or Canadian dollars, and if you select US it works out about £20-£30 cheaper in real money. Must be the exchange rates or something.

ebay seems the best bet, I haven't seen a web store that does the third party ones for under a tenner.
