running in 720p. No need for any TV ever. I'm lucky in that the 16:9 ratio fits the wall, just above the plug sockets, perfectly. And with this being a brand spanking new flat all the walls are arctic white - perfect for projecting onto.

Why people spend 750rips on LCD screens is beyond me. You can bag one of these for 650 on ebay.

Not everyone has the space for a projector, or wants the problems that go with it. (buying new bulbs, having to use it in a dark room, fan noise)

Just about every photo I've seen of a projector always seems to have a really strong green cast for some reason too. Can't beat that size for the price though.

I'm still waiting to hear about a refund for my Samsung; been without it for over 3 months now ffs. (stuck on a 17" CRT monitor in letterboxed 480i with my 360 until I can get a VGA cable) When that's sorted I should have about ?2500 for a new display.

Wait untill late feb / early march, we will then be into the 7th generation LCD HDTVs, just in time for the 360 launch on March 2nd.

Thanks mate, I was thinking the same. I'm holding out for 1080p and HDMI inputs. Just great for gaming on Revo, PS3 and 360 for the next 5 years. 8)

The game looks awful but I just need to play it myself!

The only Xbox versions I can find are from Germany or Belgium, and so the boxes are all German too etc. So do I get one of those (the game is in English apparently) or get PC or UK Cube (I can use Freeloader!)

just pust the 50" plasma 1 meter in front of the fireplace. that way you'd also have backlighting, natural even!

Its not on play.com its from the back of the box, and I know you can get Largo winch in english on cube as I have seen it with my own 2 eyes.
