Nick, arent you going to play the PS2/GCs on your plasma?

Seany, nice room you got there, cant wait to get my own place to make a dedicated gaming room too. Does it get cold in the garage?
It gets fairly cold, but not too bad - have a nice heater in there, no damp or condensation, sorted.

And Distant Cousin - for the price you can pick them up for, you may as well get a JAP DC and just use a boot disc for your PAL games, perhaps? The first time I played Ikaruga and various others on my Jap console was like a ****ing epiphany - even the startup screen where you change the date and whatnot seems better. Even better - get a modded Jap one like mine - plays everything (apart from one or two PAL titles - Skies of Arcadia being one*).

    * because of the screen size - regulars will know what I mean - there is a mod you can do - a tiny solder - but haven't been arsed yet

Right, the PAL games I have are as follows:

Chu Chu Rocket, Crazy Taxi, Millenium Soldier, HotD 2, Hydro Thunder, Jet Set Radio, MSR, Power Stone, Sega Rally, Shenmue, Sonic, Trick Style, Vigilante 8, Virtua Fighter 3tb and Virtua Tennis.

Are you saying that I should get a boot disc and play those on a Jap machine? The only other DC games I'm after at the moment are fighters and shmups.

Seany fella, that Garage set-up is awesome. I remember seeing it in GamesTM and thinking "Oh christ, the damp!", but all is fine eh?

I'm insanely jealous. I wish I had a little gaming haven to retreat to.
              Love the Vids too.

How were Mogwai? Always wanted to see 'em.

Here are two pictures of my new setup. I got a 52" JVC HDTV, and beneath it I have my Onkyo surround sound receiver, an HD TiVo, a Sony 5 disk prog scan changer, the Xbox, the Xbox 360, the Gamecube, the PS2 (that's that little blob in top of the DVD player), and a component auto switcher. The first pic is from a garage in PGR3, and the other is of course Yoda from Episode III. The entertainment area is pretty sparce, but we're working on that. A new TV meant new stand, and so adjustments will be made, and I'll post pics when it cleans up. But, there ya have it.

                    Yeh, they are well swish.

I was gonna get the one you use for your TV but isnt that handy space wise and I have alot of stuff to put in so went for a different one instead but that PC desk.. My oh my its gorgeous! Might have to get myself one of those bad boys. I kinda wish I did have a glass unit now as they look so much more modern and classy, not that the one I got isnt cool, I love it, I would just have loved to have blown ?200-300 on a proper good glass unit.

I still havent posted a pic of my setup yet, I'll do it soon if I can be bothered!

I've been meaning to get around to posting pics in this thread for years but not had the means to do so until now via crap camera phone. Also you lot have got the wicked set ups and mine is proper weak >_<

The Cabinet is new, if it gets full then the rule is I have to trade an old game before I can add a new one. Bit of room for DS game growth but PS2/Cube section is getting tight.

The TV is very old and pretty small but I've grown used to it over the years. I do dream of getting a projector, or at least a widescreen one day though...hopefully the next time I post up in here I'll be coming more correct

I should employ a similar tactic. Instead of buying bookcases... trade... in. Have to say though, your allocated space is a bit too small.

Bet you'll be cramming games all over the place and have them piled up next to the TV as well

I hear that. Had so much stolen over the years I've been living in London that I'm far to paranoid to build up a collection again. Trying to keep it down to the the bare essentials.

Of course what you can't see from the pic is my Snes collection and Bongos hidden up the back
