It sometimes causes the TV to overheat if i leave it on her too long, thats the downside.

WEll my PC monitor gave up opn live the other day, so we got ourselves a new one.

Unusually for a PC monitor you can do PIP from different sources (component, DVI,VGA,S-video) so here I'm have a bit of Civ Rev on 360 whilist PCing away.

Even more unusually you can rotate it on the stand
Especially handy as it has the component inputs so I can have some PS2 shooter action at some point

It's a Gateway FPD2185w, got it as a bit of a bargain from Staples for £189.99, stupidly though it was the only one I could find sub £200 (in my local retail park) with a DVI sock and the inputs/rotating stand was too much to resist despite it being a couple of years old (so not the bestest LCD tech evar)

Appears to be a bit of rarity, as I can't find many online.
There is also a 24inch version lurking around somewhere

Nice feature for a PC monitor is that I can choose 1:1 pixel mapping, aspect ratio zooming (true 16:9) or have it stretched to the full 16:10 resolution

Was messing round with my digicams video recording today & decided to make a mini movie of my setup, sort of a flyby of my collection.

Cool! Those shelves must be groaning under the weight! Nothing beats a glass display case to show off all the neat stuff.

Yeah i sleep under all that, i made sure the shelves are very secure to the wall but if they do go least its a cool way to die crushed by hundreds of nintendo games
