Just moved apartments so thought I'd put up a couple of pictures. Still need to get all my megadrive games sent over from the UK though..

I won a lovely Toshiba Regza 37inch LED TV this week in a shopping mall raffel!

Fantastic picture quality as expected with loads of nice features such as Hard Drive recording and playback. Dolby Digital. Live TV freeze and rewind. USB Keyboard for use with the Regza option. Basically surf a special version of Yahoo, receive and write Emails, view pictures from SD cards and other "I want to be a PC/TV hybrid" stuff that I'll never use. The sound is a bit lacking in the bass department but aren't all TVs these days Still, it has optical and analogue outs so connecting it to a good sound system isn't a problem.

Loads of ports too so I doubt I'll need to buy any switch boxes for a while, 4 HDMI ports and 2 D4 (1080i Component) ports as well as a load of composite and 2 S-Video ports. No VGA port though which is a bit of a downer for my Dreamcast's VGA box.

As expected the 360 looks fantastic at 1080p


Surprisingly my Saturn looks pretty decent too. I was expecting far worse.

@Yakumo - When I used to browse HDTVArcade a few years ago, I know many of them used VGA->Component Transcoders to connect Dreamcast VGA to Component. I've never done this myself, but looks like the way to go if S-Video doesn't cut it.

S-Video may just do the job to be honest. I found the game option settings for the TV today and what a difference they make to the SD picture. I havent tried my Dreamcast yet but just take a look at these shots taken with a normal Saturn via S-Video.

Standard Saturn resolution image looks very nice. A tinny bit blocky but nothing to bother you plus the colours and image are rock solid.

Saturn high resolution games look even better. Imagine a Saturn in VGA mode! Looks very nice

A bit of a blurry picture but you can make out the blacker than black tones. Lovely.

Got my eye on that AWSD on AO at the mo, just need the parents to tell me I can definitely have the house before I do anything

I very nearly bought a Naomi just before my wedding but the missus told me no
Was only going to be used with the 360 over VGA for the shooters & the odd bit of SFIV would have been perfect...was a bloody good price as well, really gutted I didn't get it now but fingers crossed I'll be able to grab the AWSD instead.
