    < ^Projector is Panasonic AE700

That picture you like is approx 11 things going on at once with MIB2 1080i HD and Forza via a TV Card input just with the windows dragged onto the projectors display which is set as primary monitor.

Having it as primary means any PC games can be run @ 1280x720 with the approx 80" size.

You'll get no credit from me, bitch. My garage OWNS your set up, and you know it!

Seriously though, you have made me want to convert my loft. Good work.

You have a set up like that? You live near me... When are you free!! Can I bring friends? Hehe.

Seriously though, that guys setup is ****ing amazing, so clean and pristine. I'd never come out. I'd put a dumb waiter in and just tell her to send food and drink up it when I ring the bell...

I've always wanted to convert my loft, but I've a feeling that if I show her those photo's she may just sneer at me for about a week.

Cracking setup, Rad. It's not about the equipment you use, it's the ingenuity in setting it all up!

Having looked at the specs, they do HD (1080i/720p?) and have HDMI/component input. For ?1400.

                          Where's the bad bit?!

Have you got any pictures of the back of the room, love to see how you got the projector setup and the position of your speakers. What hifi rack have you got for the amp, just like to get some idea for my cellar.

The attic has stairs a leather sofa, bean bags for mates on lan nights, fridge and a fancy Magicmix Nespresso coffee machine.

TBH the specs are pretty much all average priced AV but as some have said the setting and how it all is combined is what makes it a bit different. I change hardware every so often so for me getting the layout was important and im happy with the current performance anyways.

Back of the room as requested: Having the rear 7.1 channels approx 5ft behind the side rear speakers really opens up the surround channels it puts the users more within the soundfield rather than a typical layout with the centre rear channels directly behind or above the seating position.

As I said before i knew what i wanted to achieve and searched many AV forums including here tbh. I found many impressive rooms but nothing that really combined multimonitors with a Projector both for PC and Console usage and is also set up for LAN gaming evenings yet still is easily changed back to a traditional pc chair and desk configuration if needed.

I hope it helps inspires others.

Jebus, old chap - I was pulling your leg. My garage is just that - a grimy garage with loads of wicked games in, and a fridge that you don't have to get up to reach! Pics were posted earlier in this thread! Saying that, you are welcome round if you want - will do that at some point mate.

RAD73 - my agression was in jest, son. Your set up is absolutely magnificent, and the likes of which all of us aspire to. We will be getting a loft conversion done in a few years so nipper can have a bigger bedroom and his sister can swap rooms - this will leave me with the nursery to relocate my games stuff. It isn't huge - but I am going to aim for something as pristine and classy as yours. Of course, it took me about a fortnight to figure out how to connect a stereo system to an RGB scart - so may have to send over for you!
