Here are some pics of my setup. They were taken early last year but little has changed except I now have Sky+HD instead of the Sky+ box. The pics show the setup with cabling completey hidden for the most part.

    58" JVC HD-ILA Ultra-Slim / Xbox 360 / Sega Dreamcast / Sega Saturn / Sky+HD / Denon DVD 2800mkII / Denon AVR-2803 / Hitachi VT-FX860E / Mission 70c3 / 2x Mission 70ds / 2x Aiwa SX-WZR88 with integrated 10" sub-woofer.

Sky+HD and xbox 360 are HDMI, Saturn is RGB scart, Dreamcast is VGA, VCR is scart, Denon DVD player uses component cables and all (except VGA) are routed via the stand to the input panel on the side of the tv which has a removable panel to completely conceal them. VGA input is on the front panel unfortunately so I only connect it when the Dreamcast is in use (see last pic).

All components are connected to the Denon amp so I can play Saturn and Dreamcast games in a 5.1 setup, which techically is 5.2 as the big Aiwa fronts each have a 10" subwoofer in them. Movies, music and games sound immense, especially at louder volumes.

Awesome tv there but something scares me about your setup, what if someone opens your living room door really fast & slams into that lovely tv, please tell me you have a door stop or something

Thanks for the help you lot in finding me that wallmount!

Thanks mate, quite happy with the bedroom setup now - it just needs the Japanese 360 Slim now!

Nice screen but I'm concerned about how high up it is. Can't be good for your neck using that for extended periods of time.

It's ok, I've had tvs there before for many years and I've never had any hard impacts and the only time I need to be worried is when my nephew comes around and I usually put the table in front of the screen to stop him touching it. The tv is great, its basically a rear projection set that JVC made really slim and is ideal for gaming as it being D-ILA technology has none of the side effects of either LCD or plasma and has a 0.5ms response time which means no image lag.

Thanks, the cabling was a high priority as you would not believe how much there is with everything hooked up. I used a mixture of cable ties and cable socks to minimise the clutter. The rear speaker cable was hidden in the wall, running behind the skirting and door frame when we re-decorated a couple of years ago. The power cords are individually switched as I prefer that method. The xbox 360 power supply is hidden behind the Mission centre speaker and the Dreamcast VGA box is stuck to the underside on the centre speaker shelf. It took a while getting everything neat and tidy but it's worth the effort.

Naa I sit quite far back - which that image doesnt show you so it works rather nicely.

My new sofa arrived finally today, which makes my room almost complete so I thought Id take some newer pics

Screen is a Panny 50" plasma, had it for 6 years or so and still think it looks fabulous.

Heres the sofa, took 13 weeks to arrive so am really glad its here. Getting it down here was a nightmare!

AV Rack... Denon Amp, my HTPC, and my (7th) Xbox 360..

My games collection from the days when I was strictly import. Lots of Japanese DC, Saturn and US PS1, and some of my PS2, Xbox and GC games (others still in the loft). The Xbox and GC games were damaged by water when I had them in the loft, pretty gutting as they were all pristine..!

PS bit of a SP fan as you can see..

This is home to my 360 games, a bunch of DVDs that I dont ever watch anymore (everything is on my HDDs now, I watch via my HTPC and XBMC)

I need to repaint that little door that was replaced, behind there is the gas and electric meters.

And thats it, thanks for reading!
