I really need to see some pics of some home cinema projectors that stomp in the contrast ratio department mate - I'm totally not convinced that 1000 lumines is strong enough to fill my 16" 16:9 diagonal wall.

Projecting onto a 6" screen would be fine, if 6" was sufficiently big enough for me.

They're the Monitor audio Bronze series speakers. It's my first setup so I'm not starting too high end . They cost me enough though! I can't remember the model of my Denon, I think it's an AVR-1907? Or something like that?

I haven't taken any pictures just yet. The thing is though - taking pictures will just not do it justice. But, even after visiting sony shops, john lewis etc, and seeing high def stuff on LCD TV's & Plasma's - nothing compairs to my projector yet, and my projector is much larger .

no, no 360 as yet, hoping to be able to walk into a store in january and pick one up... i'm still playing halo2 for the time being (when i'm not sleeping/working that is).

Will be trying some HD Halo 2 on this baby tonight, gotta be done. Maybe I will get some headshots with more screen to play with. Oh and I just thought while typing that, must try attack on the control room on the original, all that snow should look sublime

I certainly prioritise image quality, but it's only one aspect of the full experience... be it listening to a film in 5.1, or playing Megaman 2 the Nes, a decent sound system only enhances.

My videogame collection

I came back home (the Netherlands) after being in Japan for a year and I finally made some new pics of my videogame collection. Let me know what you think and if you have a good tip to make my collection better.

I see that wanting IS suffering. The Buddha wasn't wrong. But then again, A REALLY NICE COLLECTION. Are all of your SFC games unopened!? I would never sell them.

I'd like to get my hands on Ikaruga for the DC. Do you have Radiant Silvergun...? Didn't see it. I also didn't see Akumajou Dracula X for the PS1 or Saturn. I would definitely have those in my collection... I only have the PSOne books version of SotN. Are all of your games on the pics there? Didn't see any FF games there except the FFX box.

So... How was your stay in Japan. What did you do there, exactly?

On the first pic you see a part of the picture is gray, I can't get it uploaded right. There are Dracula X and Radiant Silvergun in prime condition.
I have two Ikaruga's for Dreamcast and for Naomi.

The Naomi 'machine' is the hardware for Naomi I guess, I wouldn't know what else you could mean. I don't have FF games because I don't like FF or rpg's for that matter. I have just some because I like the artwork, like Chrono Trigger and Mario RPG, but I will never play them.

I didn't post my Psone (about 20)and N64 (about 30) games yet, but there is not so much interesting stuff there anyway, except for Symphony of the Night PAL with music cd and Dracula X for Psone.

Well then... Maybe I should ask you then. I have just gotten one of those white Saturns and a Dreamcast... What games should I invest in? I like shooters, fighters and other action stuff. I'm not looking to collect a whole bunch, just to get some good ones for playing and exculsive one's for those consoles, or if they are better versions. Dracula X for the Saturn is one for example or Radiant Silvergun which costs a small fortune. Thanks.

Well for Saturn and DC you should look for 2D fighting games and shoot em ups.
Both systems got better releases of most fighting and shoot em ups games then the Sony consoles.

Beautiful! BTW. Are those much cheaper in Japan? On eBay people are asking exorbitant prices for those.

I have the US version of Ikaruga for the GC. Any notable differences or do you just prefer the DC?
