As you can see, it's still pretty bare. Need to tidy up all those wires, and need to get some new shelves for all my games.
Your 360 will die being in that place like that... how is it ventilated on the other end (where the hard drive isn't there)?

Nice set up though very neat and tidy like mind will be when I get home

      Thanks

I had a look at the position very closely before deciding to place my 360 there. Loads of ventilation at the back, top and front. About the sides (with hard drive) the 360 is in fact usually placed more centrally on that shelf, by standing the router vertically. Plenty of room. I haven't had a single crash on this setup either (about a month or so since switching to it) so fingers crossed.

I was impressed enough by the current mess of wires that I took a snap:

        .

Got that monitor there so I don't always have to deal with messing around with cables quite so often, nor turning TVs around if I just want a quick game of Ketsui or something.

whats that green rectangluar thing to the right of the monitor?

              It's a CPS2.

To be more precise the green part is the B board (the game board) while the A board is the black bit under it, in this case it's Great Mahou Daisakusen which is what's on the TV.

I'm already preparing a "Revolution Room" with enough space for all movements (golf, fps, baseball etc),

the upper screen is gonna be for the Revolution games, the lower screen for the Virtual Console.

                Now I need some decoration

Go see it. You can't beat the cinema experience.
Plus it was good enough (looks wise) to have my other half go on about Scrats fur and how "real" it looked for half the night.

Have you been careful to keep tabs on the battery condition on that beauty?

                          (For everyone else):

                          CPS-2 games
In 1993 Capcom came out with their CPS-2 hardware which incorporated another suicide battery. It uses a custom 68000 with some RAM with another decryption table used to decrypt the main program ROMs. If your battery dies, you'll be greeted with a solid green or blue screen and that's it. Some folks have had success decrypting the program ROMs to make them playable in emulators, but this has not yet translated into a fix for the real hardware. The CPS-2 games are a bit more complex than CPS-1 games. Replacing the custom CPU may not be possible, since the CPU is surface-mounted, soldered directly to the PCB. My guess is that a PROM containing the decryption key will have to be added to the board and used in place of the battery-backed RAM. It'll probably be a ways off before we see a viable fix.

Your only recourse at this time is to change the battery before it dies.

Why not? apart from the traditional scratches on the film flickers, film holds more detail than that trailer does
