But is isn't too bad... I had previously changed my GC axis settings... but after you mentioned it, have now gone a few notches to the centre... So thanks for reminding me about that!

Is there a similar option for the XB... I have a similar problem with that, too high, but too the left of the screen.
RGB pictures shifting to the left is such a pain in the @r$?. ft: My old TV had the same prob and I didn't know how to get into the service menu, but fortunately the last two tvs I bought either didn't shift, or allowed me to shunt the picture back myself manually.

Great feature on the GC to be able to shift the screen, but no such feature on the XB

Best bet is to follow gtskater's advice and see if you can get into the service menu. As long as you note down all the original settings and make sure you're careful not to change any options too radically, you'll be ok.

It always amazes me that some people aren't aware of the RGB difference.

I remember being taught the virtues of RGB by many an arcade game, Galaxian in particular. I also remember being gutted that the C64 could only do s-video, and my TV didn't support even that.

I'm not bragging, I'm just saying its something I've always been aware of.

1/2 Pint - before your recent discovery, had you not ever noticed the difference?

Just a quick question about RGB and PS2. Can I use the component inputs with a UK PS2?? I am considering buying them from Play-asia along with a Component AV Expansion. Does anyone know if this decreases the picture quality at all?[/url]
