Yes, thats the good one, but if you have a moded RGB cable for an NTSC Cube then you may experience problems.

Thats seems strange that you would experience problems with the modded cable.

I use mine fine through that.

Doesn't explain the DVD problem though!

I will be using the standard RGB lead and PAL cube so i guess it's shopping time for me.

              Yeah you do.

Dont forget too that the cable from the box to your TV is the most important one in the link, since every single will be passing through it.

I use these leads (Cambridge Audio Scart-Scart Premium 2m)

Which you can get from Richer sounds for ?20 here http://www.richersounds.com/index.ph...l.php&p=201659

I`ve got 3 RGB boxes linked up with these with no loss of picture what so ever, A worth while purchase. I tested them against some Ixos leads costing twice the price, and the shielding on these ones is better.

                  Go Julian

I've had 2 Ixos Scarts fail on me (screen goes green). They carry a lifetime guarantee, but it's a hassle getting them swapped over everytime!

Richer sounds have a service on any leads. All you have to do is pick the leads you want to test, leave a deposit, take them home, try them out. Go back, collect your deposit and purchase the leads of your choice.
You can do this instore but you need to phone in advance.
99% of my hifi stuff has come from Richer Sounds and I`ve yet to find a company with such high levels of service/help.

I went to Argos yesterday to buy one of the 5 socket type.

When I got to pay for it the girl said that 'it actually wasnt a fully wired scart as listed in the catalogue was that ok?', so I declined, maybe that is the problem some people are having. There are 2 versions of this out there 1 fully wired 1 not.

I will try again next week to see if Argos have any fully wired 5 socket type.

Try out lektropacks.co.uk. They have fully RGB wired splitters which are insulated aswell so no distortion/noise. Expensive though,?60.

I took the 5 socket one back (due to it jumping from RGB to composite while watching tv) and got the good 3 socket one, no complaints so far.

I mentioned I got this the other day with the Hitachi lead, works great. I've just noticed though-I definitely ordered the more rounded look Argos splitter everyone has, but actually was sent the metal one Index has after looking at the pictures on page 1! Confusing
