Those cards eat power at about twice the rate compared to the 960 though and hotter often means noisier.

That 960 supports both of those. Display Port is a replacement for DVI and VGA (although I think it can be used carry audio data). Doesn't really make a difference at 1080P.
The GTX750ti is quite a compact card (edit actually that one you've linked looks chunky too - my 750ti had a single fan), looks like that 960 is as chunky as my 970 - make sure you've got the space in your machine to fit it, width and length.Last edited by MartyG; 30-07-2015, 15:07.

Help, I bought one of these: http://uk.msi.com/product/vga/GTX-96...-specification
My PSU has 2 PCI-E female 8pin sockets on it. <<ignore any autoskimlinks in this post!!
The gfx card has the same PCI-E female 8pin socket.
The gfx card said it comes with 1x8pin power cable, but it's a short thing about 3" long with an 8pin male at one end and a 6pin female at the other.
So, I can plug the 8pin end of that cable into either my PSU or the card, but not do anything with the other end....
It seems that what I really need is an 8pin to 8pin male cable.....
Help!!! Is this suitable??? CLICK. Or is there something else I should be getting? Bah. PC gaming jumping through hoops strikes again.
edit: I also have two spare 6 pin sata female sockets on the PSU.Last edited by charlesr; 01-08-2015, 17:09.
