Stuff like that is up to whoever manufactures and distributes the games.

what are vg+ like for ordering consoles from as i'm thinking of importing a ps3 or wii and wonder do they mark the value down on the parcels so the chance of import tax is lower ?

and will they exchange the console if its faulty ?

as the price of the ps3 is tempting 205 ish gb pound ex shipping

I got my PS3 from VG+ and it came with DHL shipping, but they marked it down so I wasn't charged import duty.

They mark all items at $20 CAD.

I've heard positive reports that they will take returns and sort it out with Sony/Nintendo at al at their end.

that's good as i don't want to pay a lot on a ps3 as the shipping is already high enough

is 205 ish for a new 80gig ps3 a good price ?

It's my duty to point out at this point that if it gets mashed up in transit by courier chumps, you'll only be able to claim back the amount they mark it as.....

thats what i have been thinking as plus with possible import tax i might be better to get a uk one instead but its tempting as i would save money but not a lot

i added a game into the basket with the ps3 and the courier shipping shot up to £62, that cant be right as surely a ps3 doesn't weigh much does it ?

even a wii was £48 on the shipping which seems a bit high to me
