Think Yakumo has it on the Megadrive but I only played the SNES one a long time ago on my 14" Portable so would be interested to see it again now both on CRT & through the XRGB

How is it on the MD Mark?
Keep looking as it's not too dear whereas the SNES version is bonkers prices to replace now.

I loved it for the SNES it's the game I most regret selling out of everything.

Some PlayStation shots of Critical Blow running on a PS2 in 480p via the D-Terminal to the Framemesier and upscaned to 720p.

        does a ps1 game automatically upscale to 480p, on a ps2?

As a hardware tech demo it's bloody amazing! As a game it's studidly hard with over long levels and well, it's not much fun. But as I said, this game does things you never would have thought possible on your Mega Drive.

Now these shots do the Framemeister justice. This is what I'm getting with my consoles - from SNES to PS1. You really do get a vibrant and sharp CRT sort of image. And the shots, being from a camera, don't fully show the quality. A Framemeister set up right does a great job. The device enables people to make retro consoles look nice on their LCD screens.

Interesting, might see if I can find a cheap cart only then just to give it a blast.

The SNES game was hard as nails too & the levels were SOOOOOO long but it was beautiful & if I could justify it I would rebuy it but at around ?150+ for CIB I just can't

No they play virtually identical but with texture smoothing on, often look fantastic.

you do need to be careful with the saturation colour setting/Hue setting, when scaling component /d-terminal sources

I find the Framemeister works best with 240p consoles. With 480P machines - such as the Xbox original - I prefer not to use the Framemeister. Although, I haven't tried a GameCube with it yet, so it'll be interesting to see what F-Zero GX looks like upscaled to 1080P.

I can tell you that me Wii looks better native o the TV via D-Terminal than it does through the Framemister on 480p games.

That would be very cool if you could

As I said I have all the hardware just a serious inability to get it all set up...drives me insane at times

So I'm getting the impression the Framemeister is amazing for 2D images and very hit and miss for 3D.
