As I expected. Interlacing is a massive issue and the sole reason I stay away from non CRT.

The Retron for example looks amazing. The image is incredible. I imagine the Framemeister has no issue with progressive images, especially 2D.

All image are an instant fail for one reason and one reason alone! Fix the aspect ratio! VF2 looks total ass in those shots.

The aspect ratio is all set. They are captured off the mobile phone and that's the reason why they 'may' appear to be off . Its just how I was holding the phone at the time of taking the pic's

no, its not a massive issue - there are no odd dark patterns or artifacts such as those you would get during movement feeding a 480i source straight to a scart socket on an LCD.

you can have a read more here and see a few pics

the image still looks mint.

But they look to be in 16.9 resolution?

Some PlayStation shots of Critical Blow running on a PS2 in 480p via the D-Terminal to the Framemesier and upscaned to 720p.

nice

TA: are you sure you are committing the cardinal gaming sin of outputting a 4:3 game in 16:9?

Any of the shoot em ups

Cotton Boomerang & Batsugun if you have them specifically though
Could do a Capcom Fighter like Vampire Saviour if you have it.

Loving this thread.

If I could get at my stuff I'd try some with the XRGB-3 as well but I just don't get time to get it all setup with Chloe around

AWESOME!!!

No worries on Vampire Saviour just thought the Dark style of that one might make for an interesting comparrison

I don't suppose anyone has a copy of Adventures of Batman & Robin on the SNES
Think Yakumo has it on the Megadrive but I only played the SNES one a long time ago on my 14" Portable so would be interested to see it again now both on CRT & through the XRGB

Yes I do...never set it up though.
Really just can't get it all run up with Chloe around, just too many cables & stuff she'd want to get involved in.

I need to do it one day when she's out & then leave it all there but Katie & her rarely go out on their own.
