What web browser do you use?

I was using IE for a long, long time, but recently switched to Mozilla Firebird, which has now been renamed to *cringes* Firefox in it's latest 0.8 release.
It's got a great tab system, and lots of nice bits and pieces. It also feels more solid, and simultaneously lighter than IE to me. For me, the winning feature is the middle-click on a link to open in a new tab. It's true that there are occasionally pages that won't load in it, but they are few and far between, and I simply load up IE for that. I've had less problems with pop-ups since I switched to it, too. The tons of extensions available are a really good thing, too. You can add loads of functionality with a quick download and auto-install.
I also tried MyIE2, and while it's customisability eclipses everything else, it's missing a few key features that I really like from Firefox, such as the bookmark keywords and keyword search.
I'd be intrested to know what browser you're using, and what particular aspect of it makes it your favourite.

Switched to FireFox at the weekend, and apart from the few times that I've kicked IE off out of pure habit, I've been happily using this much more agile browser since.

        IE is horrible.

I can't stand IE, I've been using Firebird/Firefox for just over a year now. Before that I was using standard Mozilla.

I was quite impressed by Opera , although its lack of support for IME( language bar) was the nail in the coffin.

Main pain using IE is the damn pop ups..

My browsing needs are very simple, so all I use is IE 6. For pop-up blocking I use Google's toolbar, and it works like a charm.

If your browsing needs are very simple, switch to Mozzila Firefox, it's much much quicker than lardy arsed IE6.

I'm an Opera man, for a few reasons 1. its compliance 2. its speed 3. its interface 4. IMAP support 5. Inbuilt quality mail client 6. European 7. Nice looking 8. Custom modes 9. Tabulatastic 10. It rocks.

Since I "run" an ISP I consider myself a professional website lookerupper and Opera is something I use 24/7 and 100% happy with it, and since it is pretty much the same on multiple platforms it gets a thumbs up from me.

i use safari 99% of the time, only switching to internet explorer if something doesnt work right.
but it doesnt happen too often.

I'm on Opera too. Love it to bits for all the reasons Jibber gave - by far the greatest asset being the mouse gestures. It just makes navigating so much easier with instinctive mouse shortucts (including the middle click-> open in new page command). I'm currently trying to master switching windows with the wouse wheel

I just miss those shortcuts whenever i'm on another browser

...Also, the name mozilla reminds me too much of Go!Zilla which used to scare the **** out of me with that "****ing loud roaring noise" all the time. Not a real reason to prefer Opera, but an uninteresting aside, nonetheless

MyIE 2 is perfect for my surfings, multiple pages within browser, less clutter on the task bar! oh btw, OPERA is EVIL ft: , cos when i used, a virus came via OPERA - Symantec/AVG didn't detect it (latest updates) hence ma PC died, couldnt copy, burn any files, let alone run any .exe rescue softwares, - so you've been warned.
