What web browser do you use?

I know, I know, normally I'm not that naiive but despite my best efforts I'm an apple sucker through and through.

IE6 for me. it does everything i need it to do. i can't say whether or not it does it well, as i have nothing to compare it too, but it doesn't give me any problems.
ZoneAlarm deals with pop ups for me.

You don`t realise how **** IE is until you`ve used something else. Opera for me by a mile.

1. No popups EVER - Used to use popup blockers of various kinds on IE but they usually **** pages up, whereas the simple "open requested popups ONLY" option on Opera has NEVER let me down.

2. Quick download - Essential for quickly stripping the interweb of pictures.

3. Paste and Go

4. Open all folder items - I`ve got a folder set with all my daily visits, that I jsut click this and go for a slash and they`re all loaded.

5. Multi pages in one browser page - Loads better than the way IE lumps em all together on one giant menu group thing. >_<;;;

6. Skins that don`t noticably use tons of precious resources like most things that use skins do.

7. Open in background page (or middle click) - Absolutely the dogs bollocks for opening something like the register or ebuyer (O_O), and flying over the links picking the pages you want to read.

8. Built in page searches that don`t use those evil toolbar things.

9. Dragging pictures to seperate them.

10. Copying image link options as well as copy link ones.

11. Page resizer thingy.

I haven`t found it to be faster or smaller though. But the lists of features is way way way way way better than IE. Its all in the subtle touches.

Just d/l firefox mozilla and the first thing i have noticed is the tabs function. I like this alot, makes surfing sooo much easier.

Still getting used to it but it does not seem faster than IE but it does have better functions/tools.

Think I will d/l Opera now and compare the 2 of them.

Hmm, much like Justin really, I just use IE 6, with the Google toolbar blocking pop-ups it does all that I need it to.

I had a look at the extensions list and noticed a language pack.

Does this help with translation of sites?? Im thinking along the lines of reading jap sites translated automaticly by firefox or am I way off.

I don't wanna piss anyone off here but I absolutely swear that Opera is soooo fricking better than IE6.

It's simplicity and no-nonsense actions and the number one thing in it's favour is speed.

Don't knock it until you've tried it!

Oh... One good point I forgot to mention. It's fantastic in a way 'cause one quick touch of the small x button on the top right and I can banish away 20 windows of porn just in time for... Well so my gf don't catch me looking at other women!

Everyone who I had a concerted effort on converting them to Opera has, and still is using it. Only a few IEophiles have resisted in the context of standards. I've been playing with Opera7.5 and it really is in a league above.

Have been using Opera for about a week now because of this thread and ive gotta say its quicker and has better features than ie. Liking the 'start from where you left last time' option, no more reloading those flash games.
