All I can say is - thank god for the people on here. Just had an afternoon filled with shoto gheyness.
Mr Fuddle saved the day and handed me my arse for a bit. Your Makoto is WRONG!
And I realised I'd never played against Sean much up until now, he's a cheeky bastard..Last edited by Lyrical Donut; 08-11-2004, 17:46.

not exactly taking it easy, but normally when its just some random guy your playing, i feel the need to use my best characters and really go for it.
when its people from here, the matches just feel more freindly, and i'm not afraid to experiment a bit....hence all the use of sean.
and EX sean tackle is now my favourite move, that last hit feels so brutal

oh man, i'm feeling the rage against my pad. Played some really not very good Shoto player last night, got schooled when I played Alex so I picked Ryu lost first match >< then a perfect against him then game went to poopie. Had 4 matches and lost all to his keep away technique last one was with makoto when I lost connection. Oh and to add a nice touch to the humiliation of losing to a gimp the guy was on the headset chatting to his mate in the room with him commenting on my ****ness ><
I swear to god if I hit start one more time at a critical point that bloody spad is taking a short sharp sweet fly across my room. I've been banned from swearing in the house now, pfft. 23 and yelling names at my pad and occasional juttery connection
Really love the games when I'm fighting someone I can tell is better than me. Had one bout of fights I think I lost like 8 out of 10 and I never had so much fun in a game as those. Almost died laughing when they got a taunt finish on me when I got stunned :P

Cheers Pij, not quite my best; lots of fluffs and no regularity to my super cancels. Bit disappointed at the moment - in a lull, but still, have had some good Makoto today (and some TERRIBLE Makoto at other points, mainly when I was fluffing my Hayates like no tomorrow) and getting better with Ryu.
I think I hate Urien almost as much as I hate Akuma, now.
Still: my stick should be here tomorrow. Cannot. Wait.

good review
Every SF character is here
they're still animated at a framerate which these days wouldn't make submission.
despite the clearly creaking gameplay
the Xbox controller deals well with the demands of the multi-button combos
now the mag has gone, why wont the website die with it
I wonder if the peeps at C&VG preffer to play Tekken?Last edited by Pij; 09-11-2004, 07:29.

Lol, I read the review on C+VG and then went out and bought it straight
away.
I love this gem of a line
"and there is a certain sense of feeling like a kid again when you get Blanka to frazzle his opponents, but we've grown up and moved on"
I wish they would simply "move on"Last edited by SUMIRE; 09-11-2004, 07:54.

Just register (it's free) and you can acess their movies section. There is a full tutorial section of SF3.

If i could be arsed, i would "flame" that message board...picking apart the lameness of the review ("Trigger Unhappy" yes, the xbox does have built in pads that cannot be removed! Of course people wont bother to spend money on Stick\pads mods and Pad Convertors)...but tbh, i cba!
/me goes back to playing SF3
...Or ill wait till Yashiro and Boog throw the first stone so i can jump in like a proper backgrounder :]Last edited by jassi singh; 09-11-2004, 09:56.
