U don`t get your gold medal until this lil series has visited the ring. ^_^

I`m really struggling on lil suzuka. Gotta say theres been some really impressive laps posted so far.

Same here. It's weird cause the endurance races bore me to tears, but then I'm quite happy to do 50 or so laps of the same circuit with no opponents

That's the joy of Time Trialling, just you against the clock and no one to blame but yourself if it all goes tits up.

                The standard PAL numbers

                Amuse S2000 '04 - 250 PS 1190 Kgs 213.27 PS/Tonne FR

which is different to the NTSC standard:

                Amuse S2000 '04 - 254 PS 1191 Kgs 213.27 PS/Tonne FR

I think we need to make some kind of baseline that we all set out cars to. By the way I'm using the standard PAL setup as above.

Doing it now, and as MonkeyWrench says, we'll start the rule of not having to post which car you used from Round 3 (not 4) if that's OK with everyone. (You can post car used if you wish ...)

Using the same Amuze S2000 as everyone else, I've snuck out of last position, just barely, with a 59.105

However, this frankly lousy time for that car is partly down to the fact that I've also turned off TCS for the first time, ever. So it's as sloppy as hell, with simply tons of tail-out and then opposite lock correction. I'm perfectly ok to wait a bit, but I don't suppose you could post a replay of your lap from in-car at some point, could you Sonic? It'd help immensely with judging where I'm being too heavy-footed in the second set of esses.

Yeah i dont mind the rule change.. either way is fine.. though i do actually like knowing which cars are being used, if somebody's (im looking @ you SonicMarmalade) way out infront i can just home my skillz on one car instead or spending everynight going through that massive list trying every car for 30 odd laps..

I'm totally confused now. Now there's a car list that still doesn't include the PAL version of the Amuse S2000 that I am using.

What the hell is going on?

lol d00d you`re the boss this time round. I`m just bagging teh points. o.o

Imo the rule change isn`t good because the people who aren`t as fast could do with knowing which car everyone else is using. I think its fine as it is. If you aren`t fast enough, you aren`t fast enough, so hiding your choice of car won`t really change anything. Either than or choose one specific car for each round that everyone has to use.

I'm happy either way. Besides, the rules specifically state that if you want to reveal your car choice there's nothing stopping you.

I'd possibly go for a fixed car choice myself, but if you want to leave some room then I can see that being fair. I just ask that if you're going to fix it, to fix it to something available from the start in arcade mode - I've done about 1% of GT mode so far, as I keep messing around with arcade instead.

quite agree, if winner of this round wants to pick a car rather than class that's OK by me.
