Rossco ... 56.587 ... Amuse S2000 Street Version 2004


I thought the other Amuse S2000 was allowed, so I done a lap in that, got low 54's then checked the list and it wasn't there anymore!


I know I can beat this lap time badly but I keep mucking up the last turn or the first turn, if I nail the first then I screw up the last and vice verca. I can do the S bends PERFECT every time.


EDIT: Yeh a fixed car would be better IMO too.

The only problem with a fixed car is that some people might not have access to that car in the arcade mode. Does anyone know what cars are available as standard in the arcade mode?

I don't know of a list. Is there a way to get one big list of all selectable cars on-screen? Since I've unlocked bugger-all, I suppose I could write it down. Alternatively, the winner could just check by booting without a memory card in their machine.

Yeh, thats the best idea, winner switched on without memory card and picks a car from the options there.

I keep shaving tiny bits of time off it each lap I do, I know I can still get down to 55 but it just isn't happening for me now.

But I`m proven faster with a wheel, so this way gives u all a headstart. p

You wheel jockeys all got quite a big advantage (if you`re any good) without a doubt atm, cos you can be more accurate when placing the wheels, much smoother at manouevering (thus holding higher corner speeds), and can switch directions faster (the left-right leading up to wehrseifen bridge at the nurburgring is one example). No excuses there tho, simply outclassed this round.

I thought the ford pickup truck was more funneh than the beetle tbh. p

I`ll take any challenge as long as its not in ****e cars. I`ve still got hatchback trauma from the Nurburgring thread. >_<;;;

Tbh I think it should be predefined that the final round of this little contest should be the nurburgring in something seriously stickers `n` slicks fast (like the lister, but with the power and weight altered to maximum), as that`ll sort the men from the boys. Might even buy a wheel specially for it. ^_^

Screw the stickers and slicks, I think it should be done in any pre-1900 cars! That's where it's at

the analogue sticks can be very accurate once your well used to them.
