should be on from about 5ish on. Maybe breaking it up with a bit of Crimson Skies or Forza

just get it you fanny... then you shall feel the warmth of our love once again. seriously, if it was ?40 i'd be mightily pissed off that it has 'issues' every now and again but for the ?20 i paid i'll gladly put up with them.
as randy said, we had one booting but the rest of the night was perfect.

just been playing online with myself (ha ha) and had some control issues... i paused the game (i know you can't, just brought up the menu to answer a phonecall) when i got back i couldn't lie prone/stand up, nor could i swap weapons.
this game has some very odd quirks, if you're the kind of person to get annoyed easily don't buy it.... i just nearly threw the disc out of the house. >_<
anyway, i'm online now and waiting for you sexy boys to come and play with me *purr*

That sounds a little similar to a problem I had with it a few days ago. In an online squads game, was lying down, couldn't change the fire rate on my gun. The option had been there when I was stood up, but whenever I tried to select it while prone the game decided that I'd asked it to swap my rifle for my pistol. I thought maybe it was just that you can't change rate of fire while prone, but I've been able to ever since...

Originally posted by JakewayWell got a copy this morning. Finished the first level and I must say your ?team? are useless, always throwing grenades and getting spotted? and their idea of flanking is quite different to mine.
Anyone noticed the enemies spawning at some points on single player? I was stood with cover to my right (edge of the map) and then all of a sudden two people spawned and were blasting up the place right next to us and missed us!
UBI's Live menus are awful. Bungie have definitely set the standard with their Live interface.

I'd disagree with that, in a lot of respects. Certain of the most useful options in Halo 2 are hidden away in the most obscure places - muting players during a game, locking down parties while you're in the lobby. It's good, and it's certainly better than most, but they've a long way to go before they're anything like as intuitive as they should be.
Spawning enemies - yeah, it's a problem. One of the worst missions for it is either Canyons or Badlands - one of the final two, anyway. Every time we've played it in co-op we've ended up having snipers spawn above/behind us, or enemies pop out of nowhere on the ground level. I've not noticed it so much offline, but then I've not played it offline as much as on.
Not sure that your AI team get better as the game progresses, or if it's just that you get a better idea of how best to use them, what sort of commands work and what sort don't. When I first started playing they wree managing about three, four kills each. Finished the fourth mission yesterday and one of them was only one kill behind me, somewhere in the mid-twenties. I've a feeling that the increase is simply because I was putting them in better positions, not trying to get them to do things that the AI wouldn't like.

Kind of off-topic, but maybe someone can tell me.
How much do you reckon is good to make a server for 10 people? 256 kbit upload is enough?
Last night me and 9 more friends of mine were trying to play but it kept dropping as soon as we entered the game proper.
I didn't tried to host, but i have a cable connection with 4096 Kbps download, 256 Kbps upload.
I would of tought that was enough.

As I'm sure you know, it is the upload that is the most important factor for the host. 256k upload is what a lot of people have. For example, I'm on 1mb down, 256k up -so your faster connection wouldn't on paper make much difference to how many players we could host. Saying that, the numbers on paper don't mean that people actually get them in practice.

What Soi said,
Also you need to makesure none of your comrades have dinky connections as that would mess up the game.
Prefect Example, me and two mates. Two of us had 1mb other thought he had 512kb.
Playing DOAU would be fine until he joined, when playing Tom Clancys SCCT he would drop always, or the game would be unstable. Turned out he had 256kb with 80-100Kb Upload. Upgraded, Problem was solved.
Anyone who has a few poeple sharing the Connection will bollox up everyone.
The First IP who does Fast Uploading will get my money !
