Well balls to that. We found the dedicated server, 4v4, nice fit and all... and my box hung at "1 second to launch"... except the voice didn't. So I got to hear everyone saying "lots of static players around, eh?". I needed to go, so that was that for the evening.

Stupid buggy netcode. I want to love this game, and then it pisses me off.

That happened to me on Halo last time I played it. Got through the 'setting up game' stages, got stuck on the very last, after it's shown the teams. Could hear everybody else talking.

@Paleface: It is buggy as hell. It has deleting my save game twice. Anyone know a level select cheat. I really don't want to play through the first half for a third time.

Yeah, I'll be back on in about an hour, if you're still around. Only played the first couple of levels in the single player so far, and I have to say I'm really not enjoying it. Will be hoping that the multiplayer can live up to the positive comments here, otherwise my copy might also be finding its way back onto shop shelves next week.

Actually, scrub that. I forgot that The Shield's on tonight - will pop on Live when that's finished, see if anybody's about.

Didn't make it on tonight anyway, stoofle got me Sonic R for me birthday so we've been playing that

I have the next 3 days off, so I'll probably be around at some point....unless I trade it and finally get meself a cube.
