Couple questions on the rules...

One rule states we should play one game against opponent and another states we should play two games with each of us hosting a first half to denote home/away tie. Suggest it just one game against each player??

Also, a rule says we should play extra time and penanlties if required. Should this be changed to allow games to be drawn after 90?

Sorry for the pedantic questions Bleeders, best to sort it before games get underway though. When you on to kick of our group with a titanic battle??

My 2 euros...

I'd vote one game against each player, since the hosting is now shared.
And draws after 90 mins should be allowed at this group stage.

Goldbricker 2 : 2 Rustyidiot

Rusty opened the scoring early in the game with a nice low cross and shot then made it two with another cross which was met with a volley on the edge of the area. I had to buck my ideas up and managed to pull a goal back before half time by passing the ball across the area and then a turn and shoot to bring it back to 2-1.

In the second half I think I had the fair share of the pressure and got another goal back to make it 2-2 meeting a corner with a nice header. We then both had good chances to win the game especially Rusty who had a 1 on 1 with my keeper in the dying seconds which luckily my keeper was able to save.

A fair result I think and a decent start.

Goldbricker (Denmark) 2 - 2 (Mexico) RustyIdiot

So first game played, was quite close I went 0-2 up with 2 early goals and Goldbricker spent much of the rest of the game getting equal and then going onto pressurise me. We both had late chances that could have sealed a win, but ultimately neither side can be disappointed with a draw.

Superb, the cup is off to a flyer, this is gonna be magic, what Pro Evo should be all about.

Widegoat (Turkey) 0 - 3 TwistedG (Cameroon)

Scored early on after lion's share of the possession, Widegoat came back into it late in second half but had few clear cut chances.

Second half was a more balanced affair but I managed to score mid-way through half and scored with almost the last kick of the game.

Flattering scoreline but deserved victory....

Turkey 0 - Cameroon 3 Result Confirmed

TwistedG dominated throughout the game, I was never going to win from the off. Was unlucky to not get one in the first half off the back of a good break - but that was about it. A well deserved victory - and in my opinion a scoreline that accuratley respresents the flow of play. Well played mate! (See you in the final :-p)
