Lets aim for 10 so the bye can be done at the semi final stage. If we done it with 12 the bye would put someone right into the final, which is not on if you ask me.

EDIT: Forget that. My maths is ****e. But I'm pretty sure that with ten, a winner from the first round goes straight into the final - but with twelve a winner of the second round gets into the final. Or am I completely wrong?

Whatever happens there is a bye to the final which is just wrong.

suggest if we get 10 we do 2 groups of 5 with each team playing each other team once and the top 2 in each group going to a semi where the winner of A plays runner-up of B, etc. That gonna fly?

Would give us plenty of games to get sorted and if we have an off game it gives you a chance to recover?

A sensible decision given you would be booted if we went with 8 mate.

Just do groups. Sounds fair enough, as long as everyone who signed up is commited to getting the games done asap.the more the merrier.
