I've been in a linkshell with a bunch of messers for the past 3 nights.

Every night has been just like tonight...

Run 5,000 miles after a sound solo sesh to meet up with them to lvl up.
I get there, they change their minds about lvl-ing up and run all the way back where I've just came from (dragon).
I then die 4 times in a row and totally de-level exp wise back to where I was at 5pm.

I dumped those tits and threw away the link pearl in disgust.

...and then for the first time I switch the **** off without having anyone talk me around this time.

I need to seriously stay on my own if I want to lvl up. I haven't levelled in over a week, I used to lvl twice a night. Pump.

I need to get halfway towards LVL.23 tonight. I'm 400exp to LVL.21. If I don't progress tonight (for the 7th night in a row) I'm getting rid as it's pissing me off getting nowhere.

I found my original Skull-finding group last night and I thought they'd all be LVL.30 by now, they're only LVL.24 so I pretty much want to catch them up.

I need to kill this Dragon and then GTF, I'm hating San'Doria.

Fed up with teaming with jobless ***** who sponge off of mummy + daddy as well, I suggest we team up together for a while mate. Just us two, we should be rite as I'm better on my own than with a group of time wasters.

You mean the chest key for Giddeus? Don't the Orcish Curse dudes and fighters drop those? Wouldn't mind tagging up for toughs as the EXP should be in the 50 region, plus you can heal which cuts our healing time down. The problem is those toughs are deep in the grotto and usually aggro really badly (I was chased out by 6 orcs last night and barely zoned it), it's a while back to the entrance. Too bad my THF isn't lvl.15 as the drop rate doubles apparently.

I reckon if we both hit level 25 together we should be able to take the dragon on just us two as long as we balance out the vokes even enough. I've yet to get beat by it so I'm unsure of the status effects it hands out. I'll check on Gamefaqs. It may be wiser to take a BLM and luckily I'm good mates with one (Zangerbob).

Can you ride a chocobo yet? I reckon we set off to Qufim and level up there for a solid couple of hours before attempting the dragon. 2x LVL.25s should take it with minimal fuss tbh - I've heard WARs solo-ing it.

I really need to pick up and get some severe progress done - I'm really hacked off at wasting approx. 40hrs getting nowhere.

OK I've done my research on the Dragon - I reckon we're gonna need both a LVL.20+ WHM & LVL.20+ BLM (to cast sleep primarily) as well as another WAR/MNK possibly.

As long as we don't end up with a set of c**ts that come out with "LOL! I'm not here for the EXP!" we should be ok.

Like I say, if we can level up to LVL.22-23 (at the very least) I can get all three of the above no problem, they we're hanging around in Ghelsba last night actually. Another thing, I'm not anywhere near that bastard grotto until I'm lvl.22

...And then we can join their linkshell hopefully, as we'll be l33t enough.

Good day again, got another key only the pal mines one left togo and killed the dragon and hit Rank3.

Finding making money real hard though!

Going to watch 24 ep 6 and bob on and raise my fame in Bastok.

Up for trying for that key in bastok mines and some lvl'in tomoz fallows?

Well got a new copy of the game disc and it wont work with the install I have on my hardrive so I`ve formatted the damn thing and am gonna start over.

Ok this game can run slow as hell and is pretty choppy nearly all the time, I really hope thse things can be sorted throough updates as its not a bad game, this is only my second online rpg but I think it may be worth playing as long as the price is right. Does anyone have an idea how much theyve said it will be? BTW I'm in the elven city and it seems less full of annoying yanks which is good.

aha thats where I just started look out for a tall one called Vahm, yea it can get laggy when you have a lot of other teams around.

Will do huxley team up sometime if you like altho im usually playing obscene hrs of the night, im an addict! I cant say so far ive met any idiots in this town i think they all pick humans and hang out in bastock

I have a key for King Raunpeeers tomb or whatever (I hate this games weirdo spellings!!) Although you only get around 900 gil out of it for 6 hours worth of hassle.

I'm now in Jugner forest - heading towards qufim to try and find a levelling up party.

I need to get to LVL.23 tonight for sure (currently 21) 10,000exp to level 23. =(

Killing monsters for 50exp, 5minutes for each one is going to take 17hrs. =(

It'd only take 4/5hrs for a party of 6 killing pugils for 150 exp each, or two and a half hours with the chariot band on.

I'll head to Qufim 1st and if there's f all there I'll head back to Palborough.

Okies! Ive just hit level 5 i think so not too bad, havent got a usb keyboard yet, god dammit using their interface is just nasty.

ok Im really loving this game but whoever invented that typing interface for the pad needs unmentionable things doing to their private parts, its horrible and more dated than any phone so theres no excuse before you play please get a usb keyboard it will help so much! and also find a good site for a guide, its so vague its not funny. All that said its such a fun world and its the only online rpg with chocobos and moogle!

Hit lvl 22 last nite and saw you up at quifm! Had a cracking party did 2500exp in 2 hours but then our whm decided to leave =(

Also ive nearley completed every quest in Bastok now too
