BTW the little details in this game are ridiculous - I've finally got over my apples & balloons obsession - Anybody noticed how the crowd in the wrestling stage hold up placards which are relevant to the fighters - Last night I spotted someone with one saying "Go Spartan-458" - class
Christ - one more and we've hit 16.

I noticed that in Tina's story mode, but assumed it was only for Tina/Bass and La-Mariposa (or whatever her name is). That is nice though.
And during our lag-fest the other night the game was running slow enough to notice the reflections on the windows in that bit palace-type-place
Edit: Cheers btw; thought you were going to make me play as that drunken hack there.

Idea for a random character tournament would be interesting.
If we have problems with lag in a busy tournament lobby then we can just arrange the fights so there are 2 in a lobby and both agree it is an official fight. Suppose it defeats the purpose of using the tournament set-up but will ensure perfect 121 connection when it really matters in a tournamentcould have it set-up like the Pro evo 5 one was?

Thinking along the same lines, I wonder if you would get the same lag if just two people enter a game and the rest stay in the lobby rather than everyone queuing?
Then you could still watch the match on the lobby tv.
As Mardigan said, as much as it would be great to use the tourny function, a match running at a decent speed takes priority. It'll just mean all the match-ups are decided beforehand and everyone posts their results on the forum.

Doing the fights seperate would enable folk to agree a time for the fight aswell, but of course its the tournament feature we want to try outmust remember this at all times, hehe.

EXACTLY what I was thinking PerfectSmith - Everybody else stays in the lobby and only the 2 fighters join - The lobby host can "pass the crown" through the options there anyway so that somebody other than them can actually start the fight session.
Still, deffo want to try the full 16 people at once thing - we could also do 8v8 team battles which would be nice
